The Leica EZ4 HD stereo microscope offers the same high quality instrument but with the addition of an integrated 3.0 megapixel CMOS high-definition camera. The high resolution live video may be displayed on an HD display or viewed and recorded on a PC/MAC via the USB 2.0 interface. Images and movies may also be stored on an SD memory card for archiving or transporting. Illumination is provided by daylight balanced LED's giving true colour, low heat, maintenance free, incident and transmitted lighting. The built-in incident light may be used in combination with the transmitted light and is controlled by a simple membrane keypad.
