David
is a precision, non-contact measurement instrument that allows
dimensional measurements to be taken directly from a video monitor.
Simple on-screen, mouse activated menus control the operation of the
instrument. All measurement data, text and graphics are 'keyed' onto
the incoming video and include: Measurement Cursors,
Graticules and Grids, Circles and Angles, Date and Time.
All measurements, including data from external transducers, are
displayed on-screen and are available on the RS232 port for printing or

by the front panel matte control, all other operations are controlled
using the mouse.
The square pixel format utilised by David enable simple, two point
calibrations, at any angle on the screen. Multiple calibrations are
stored in non-volatile memory and can be password protected.
